Bare Metal Image

It can take forever to recover a server. Can your customers' businesses afford to be vulnerable in the meanwhile? Using the Advanced version of our software you are able to perform bare-metal backup of the entire Windows System. Windows Vista and newer operating systems which implement the 'wbadmin' utility are able to perform bare metal backup images of the underlying OS disks and partitions.

The software can integrate with the 'wbadmin' utility in Windows Vista / 7 / 8 as well as Server 2008 / SBS 2010 / 2012. Or alternatively our software can also integrate with the StorageCraft ShadowProtect series of bare metal imaging software. The ShadowProtect allows you to run bare metal image backups on any other operating system not listed above. The StorageCraft solution is a 3rd party product that is not included with ours and requires licensing of it's own.

• Hot backup allows you to produce bare metal images of the system without any downtime.

• Windows System Images can be produced using 'wbadmin'.

• StorageCraft ShadowProtect can produce images in operating systems not covered by 'wbadmin'

• In-file delta support allows only portions of the images that have changed to uploaded rather than the complete image on a nightly basis.
